Highlights

Since picking up the violin at six years old, Amanda’s persistent dedication to improving her musical skills has lead to a flourishing career. At ten years old she became the concertmaster of the Gainesville Suzuki Players, serving in that position for two years. Throughout her childhood, she performed at many local events, weddings, festivals, and competitions, winning her fair share of awards in the process.

This experienced translated well into more advanced roles later on, such as the three summers she spent touring the country with the Florida College Friends pop/rock band. Beginning at age seventeen, she served as the concertmaster for the Florida College string ensemble for three years. After earning her bachelor’s degree in music from Florida college, she transitioned into music education, giving private lessons for the array of instruments in her repertoire. Since then, she has taught music in Florida, Washington, and even in Australia during the year she and her husband lived there.

Her time in Australia broadened her experience with music production, as she performed and collaborated with local labels and musicians. Since returning to Washington, Amanda is once again teaching music. She is currently accepting students for violin, piano, guitar, voice, and ukulele.
